The study on cutting-edge technology like cryptography with a prolonged style on quantum computing, whereas cryptography acts as a critical contribution to make in digital communication and security. Although cryptography defines a process of distinct features in order to encrypt and decrypt the data to achieve high order security in maintaining data security while sharing information online. Also the process of quantum mechanics is to develop cryptographic methods to offer highest security levels, to protect sensitive and confidential information from possible threats and cyber-attacks. This research paper holds the primary study on cryptographic algorithms and prime protocols useful in quantum computing. Classical computing compares with quantum computing, whereas the computing process defines its emerging field of cutting edge technology in the computer science domain. The proposed technique called as QKD, Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) is a sophisticated technique for secure transmission of cryptographic keys. The experimental research has been conducted, implementing the BB84 protocol and Shor’s algorithm to observe the result analysis through the python programming framework, to evaluate their processes, efficiency, and computation time. By doing so, it provides valuable illumination of the strengths and weaknesses of each method, particularly in context to quantum cryptography, helping to identify the most effective solutions for secure communication.
