Characterization and Evaluation of Nanoencapsulated Systems
摘要
Food safety is a global priority. The growth of food systems complexities continues to increase the risk of contamination and foodborne illness. This chapter looks at cutting-edge innovations to make tomorrow safer, through technological advancements, analytical tools, and preventive strategies. The work includes the integration of smart technologies, from blockchain for traceability to biosensors to facilitate rapid pathogen detection, to improve monitoring and transparency. For minimizing the consumption risks and ensuring food quality, novel preservation methods are applied in the food industry, which include non-thermal techniques and natural antimicrobial agents,. Predictive analytics and risk assessment models are identified as essential to being able to predict and manage potential threats. Also, the necessity of robust regulatory frameworks and global collaboration to have harmonization standards in safety is presented. This chapter bridges science, technology, and policy to review how innovations in food safety in an increasing food supply chain will shape the future of food safety for consumer health and trust.
