Genetics and the Application of Voice-Related Biomarkers
摘要
The literature was reviewed for the suggested voice-related biomarkers, which were eventually used in genetic disorders over the last 5 years. A search was conducted in the Library of the Royal Society of Medicine, UK. Papers that included voice-related biomarkers were presented in relation to the annual publication year. Voice-related biomarkers have been used more and more over the past 5 years, especially fundamental frequency, mostly only one biomarker at a time in a paper. Machine learning has been employed very seldom. From this study, it emerges that voice-related biomarkers can be applied. The future perspective will be to go on with machine learning and to combine the biomarkers. The combination of voice-related biomarkers is more suitable for the evaluation of treatments and prognoses, particularly in a clinical setting.
