This chapter reviews the different techniques and approaches that have been carried out throughout the thesis in a more practical approach. Sections are devoted to the tight-binding formalism, Density Functional Theory simulations, Green’s functions, and symmetry-based analysis in the framework of Topological Quantum Chemistry.
