Microsurgical Anatomy of the Cerebellopontine Angle
摘要
The cerebellopontine angle is a complex anatomical region that requires a three-dimensional understanding for safe microneurosurgery. It is divided into three zones, each with exclusive neurovascular groups. The brainstem, cerebellum, and nerves have rigid organization, while arteries are variable and veins are anarchic. Cisterns, containing cerebrospinal fluid and neurovascular elements, are also anatomically relevant. In the chapter, all these microneurosurgical anatomical elements of interest are described in detail and systematically.
