This study is undertaken with the intention of broadening and explicating the extant body of literature on digital crimes. The proposed work will hence undertake a complete investigation into the different forms of offenses that are perpetrated via electronic networks and digital platforms. The investigation will consider in-depth and critical scrutiny of existing investigative processes and methods. It will highlight inadequacies and suggest areas for improvement in order to make investigations into digital crime more effective and efficient. From this evaluation, a novel and innovative strategic framework will be proposed that will meet the purpose of allowing for optimized and streamlined systematic methods of evidence collection through new advanced and sophisticated methodologies. The greatest aim of this study shall be to develop a more precise, accurate, and reliable system for the investigation of crimes in the digital realm. The project shall, in particular, ensure that all evidence gathered is conscientiously preserved and maintained with its integrity intact so that it can be used without hindrance in court proceedings as evidence. Therefore, the objective of this work to initiate a substantial contribution toward an ever-developing trend in the study of digital crime. By serving as a source of practical guidelines and recommendations, it hopes to substantiate the legal system as it tackles the complicated and multifaceted.
