This research explores the implications of generative AI, particularly ChatGPT, in instructional design for business process modeling. The study leverages ChatGPT-4's capabilities in prompt engineering to address challenges in process modeling education, aligning with instructional theories and frameworks such as the ADDIE model and Bloom's taxonomy. Findings indicate that while ChatGPT can enhance the design and delivery of educational content, it requires careful integration and refinement. By examining the efficacy of ChatGPT in creating and assessing educational material, this research contributes to the understanding of generative AI's role in modern education, suggesting a balanced approach that utilizes AI to augment traditional teaching approaches.
