Abstract Postpartum depression (PPD) along with postpartum psychosis (PPP) represent serious mental health problems that affect new mothers as PPD occurs among 10–15% but PPP emerges more rarely yet carries severe symptoms including hallucinations and delusions. The proposed AI-driven framework consists of two stages to overcome obstacles such as stigma delayed diagnosis and unequal care access that women face. The first stage of our framework uses kiosks in maternity clinics powered by NLP to evaluate responses from EPDS screeners which detect mental health problems early. At the kiosks, people get advice with the help of texts in many languages and cultures that deal with high-risk scenarios behind closed doors. At Stage 2, a caring virtual psychiatrist program starts using AI technology for discussions and runs CBT therapies together with crisis management methods for the more challenging cases. With this approach, every mother is able to get the needed postpartum mental care at the correct time and their privacy is ensured. [2]
