Coastal regions are highly susceptible to flooding due to factors like low regional topography, high rainfall, lack of water catchment areas, rising sea levels, river overflows, and global warming. Effective monitoring of sea tides is crucial for detecting, predicting, and providing early warnings for potential floods. In Indonesia, various sea tide monitoring devices and infrastructure have been developed, but these systems are often expensive, require significant maintenance, and depend on foreign components. Additionally, there is a shortage of trained personnel to manage and maintain these devices. This paper introduces a more efficient tidal data acquisition system to enhance flood monitoring. The key component is the Automatic Water Level Recording (AWLR) system, a reprogrammable single-board computer (SBC) embedded with ultrasonic water level sensors, CCTV cameras, and internet connectivity. The AWLR continuously sends tidal and visual data to a cloud server. Designed to be cost-effective and easy to build, the AWLR also features a Predictive Maintenance System (PdM) for real-time condition analysis, ensuring stability and reducing downtime. Testing shows that the AWLR is reliable, accurate, easy to operate, and adaptable for various applications.

摘要
