“Transitions of the Immutable: Reflections on Public Education in the 21st Century” is a set of brief reflections—Working Paper #1 (On Learning: The Importance of Respect, Kindness, and Well-being), Working Paper #2 (Immigration, Inclusion, and Linguistic and Cultural Diversity), Working Paper #3 (Technological Revolution, Pedagogical Innovation, and Ethics)—on the constancy of the School, i.e., its apparent rigidity, the conservatism of its processes as an institution, and the challenges the School has been facing for several decades in a context of increasing globalization, marked by a dynamic of profound demographic, economic, social, and ideological changes.
