It is necessary to think of living and inanimate beings as a whole in an urban space. There are various elements of urban spaces. Urban element analysis, such as Lynch's classification, is one of the most basic examples in this field. Environmental perceptions and behaviors that affect the way people experience urban space vary. Navigation applications also play an important role in finding urban experiences and directions in today's technology. First studied by Tolman in 1948, cognitive mapping reveals the mind representations of spatial cognition. This integration leads to the concept of spatial configuration, which drives attraction and movement within cities. This research aims to identify potential urban images, focusing on buildings, cafes and murals in the Yeldeğirmeni Neighborhood of Kadıköy, Istanbul. By combining cognitive mapping visibility values with tools such as Syntax2D and Grasshopper, the goal is to create an evolving mapping system that improves urban area identity for residents.
