This chapter examines the manufacturing and functioning features of conductometric paper-based (PB) humidity sensors, the most frequently studied paper sensors. The operation of humidity sensors is analyzed when using paper as a sensitive material and as a substrate for other humidity-sensitive materials, such as carbon-based materials, semiconductor materials, and polymers. The parameters of sensors manufactured under various conditions are provided. Conditions providing an optimal response are considered.
