Paper-Based Indicators
摘要
The chapter discusses paper-based indicators of humidity, temperature, pH of a solution, the composition of the surrounding atmosphere, and the freshness of the food. In addition, time-temperature indicators used in the food storage and transportation process, and chemical indicators developed to monitor the sterilization process of medical instruments are discussed. A description of the principles of their functioning and the features of their manufacture is given. The advantages of such indicators and possible areas of their application are also analyzed.
