A Smart Multilayer Supervised Control Architecture for Safe Traveling in Urban Road Networks
摘要
In this chapter, a control algorithm for a vehicle platoon operating in a smart urban network is presented. Two main aspects are formally addressed: routing decisions and command inputs computations. In a nutshell, run-time routing decisions are obtained by using a reinforcement learning algorithm which exploits the available information provided by the vehicle sensor module, while a distributed model predictive control algorithm is built by resorting to a set-theoretic approach where most of the computations are offline performed.
