My approach to the history of concepts and theories of dimension and objects that have assigned dimension numbers or exhibit forms of dimension, such as points, lines, surfaces, and solids, has been through the problems that have arisen concerning them and the solutions and theories that have been proposed to solve the problems. Over the years problems led to solutions and theories that drove the entire development.
