Augmented reality smart glasses (ARSGs) offer a unique immersive experience in education, distinct from other devices such as smartphones. While research on their use in educational settings is growing, few studies focus specifically on their use by students. This study explores the experiences and perceptions of primary school students on the use of ARSGs in their learning. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 fourth-grade students from a private school, as they interacted with ARSG applications for the first time. Thematic analysis of the interviews revealed that students found ARSGs easy to use, and several learning benefits and specific affordances were identified. Overall, students expressed willingness to incorporate ARSGs into their lessons, noting that the challenges they encountered were minimal.
