Complications Associated with Repair of Atrioventricular Septal Defect
摘要
The primary complications to be avoided with atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD) repairs are: left AV valve insufficiency or stenosis, residual atrial or ventricular level shunts, injury to the AV node, right AV valve insufficiency or stenosis, and left ventricular outflow tract obstruction. Pulmonary hypertension is avoided by appropriate surgical timing.
