Surgical repair of Ebstein anomaly, and in particular the tricuspid valve are accomplished via median sternotomy with aortic and bicaval cannulation. Complications associated with Ebstein anomaly include incomplete delamination and/or residual tethering, papillary muscle injury, fenestration of the free wall, and inadvertent ligation of the right coronary artery. The focus of this chapter is potential complications related to Ebstein repair, how to avoid such complications, and how to address them.
