Development of Measures Aimed at Increasing the Operational Reliability of the Rope-Block System of Automobile Cranes
摘要
Data on defects of 280 truck cranes in operation were collected and analyzed. As a result, it was found that defects in the rope-block system were detected in 36% of all examined truck cranes, which is the maximum value of all groups of defects and failures. This type of defect is very dangerous, since it is directly related to the crane’s performance of work on moving loads. An analysis was performed of the effect of deviation angles of the load rope on the durability of steel ropes of truck cranes. It was found that modernization of the rope-block system of a truck crane will reduce the deviation of the load rope. Thus, the number of wire breaks in the rope on fixed blocks in the boom head during rope twisting and untwisting will decrease.
