Investigation of Plasma Spraying Processes in Metal Powder Production
摘要
The main processes of plasma spraying in metal powder production are described. The processes of obtaining metallic and non-metallic powders by sputtering wire under the influence of low-temperature plasma are described in detail, including four stages: 1 - formation of dispersed particles during the interaction of a plasma jet or compressed arc with the sprayed material; 2 - movement and heat exchange of particles in plasma flow, where particle acceleration and heating occurs; 3 - movement and heat exchange of particles in the medium, braking and cooling of powder particles occurs; The current-voltage characteristics of the electric arc are given in the range of 80–180A; argon or nitrogen are used as working gases at various pressures. Photographs of the plasma spraying process in air at different modes and with a plasma forming gas are presented.
