By theoretically demonstrating their philosophical possibility, as much as by collecting multiples traces and facts that prove their actual existence, this chapters shows how a large collection of radically alternative practices engages forms of oppositional, emancipated, and emancipatory architectures. These explicitly unproductive, collaborative, decolonial, festive and/or anticapitalist ways of doing architecture weave the web of a whole different imaginary for architects and societies, one that is different from the “progressist”, imperialist, dominant and dominating one that the architectural modernity previously supported. It aims at drawing renewed horizons and hopes for architects that wish to resist through architecture and apply themselves to the issues of their era.
