In the case of intermittent claudication (IC), a condition in which revascularization does not confer significant limb salvage or mortality benefit, identifying pertinent short- and long-term outcomes that also consider a patient’s functional status and quality of life is an evolving process. The purpose of this chapter is to provide contemporary insights regarding short- and long-term objective and subjective outcome measures that are most relevant to the care of patients with IC.
