It is well known that most of them are four-stroke engines with semi-fast or fast rotation speeds. Understanding their operating principles is essential for designing the optimal naval energetic system configuration. This study aims to carry out a detailed analysis of a certain type of marine auxiliary engine, which is widely used in the maritime industry, in various configurations for several decades now.
