Obtaining user media content and its system will contribute to realizing the well-being life of the users. Interactive Evolutionary Computation is one of the most efficient methods of searching for good media content as solutions suited to each user’s Kansei and preferences. Its application field has been getting more expansive, and a recent approach proposed the creation of congruent media content composed of different media types: music and aroma. However, its search state and efficiency clarification were insufficient. This study aims to construct an IEC with aroma and more flexible music pieces and investigate the search state and degree of relaxation feeling. A Genetic Algorithm (GA) was used in the system, and each GA individual had ten variables corresponding to information of congruent media content. Six were used for music notes and four were used for aroma sources to be mixed by a special device: the number of the music notes was increased from the previous method. Gradual increases in the evaluation values of participants’ feelings of relaxation were confirmed in the search experiment. Furthermore, as a new investigation, the best solution obtained in the final generation was divided into each media type, and their relaxation effects were also evaluated.

摘要
