The paper presents a new kind of bevel gear with spiral-type teeth machined on common equippement. A new skiving method is presented. A scheme of the gear design process is given. The main features of design of the gear are listed. Properties and control of localized contact is considered specially to provide a large contact ratio and small transmission error. A positive influence of naturally obtained enlagred spiral angle in the proposed gear is established.

摘要
