Delayed Enhancement and Viability Assessment in Cardiac MRI
摘要
Delayed-enhancement CMR (DE-CMR) is very useful in diagnosing diseases of the myocardium. Different myocardial diseases present different patterns of hyperenhancement in DE-CMR. Applying DE-CMR techniques as part of the cardiac MRI viability study provides the ability to differentiate these diseases. In this chapter we will explore a case in which DE-CMR was crucial in providing the correct diagnosis for the patient, and ultimately, identified previously unknown heart disease. By the end of this chapter the reader should be able to understand the applicability of DE-CMR for the diagnosis of ischemic heart disease
