摘要

After introducing the minimal framework needed to make sense of a fluctuation theorem, we briefly review some basic facts about large deviations estimates that play a crucial role in the formulation of fluctuation theorems. The reader is referred to Dembo and Zeitouni (Large Deviations Techniques and Applications. Springer, Berlin, 2000) and Den Hollander (Large Deviations. Fields Institute Monographs. American Mathematical Society, Providence, 2000) for detailed introductions to this vast subject.
