Green tourism is becoming more popular due to the travelers’ consciousness on environment. The major objectives of green tourism are emphasizing the importance of responsible tourism which benefits to the sustainability in green practices to the local community. The core components of green tourism are conservation and protection of the environment as well as biodiversity and natural resources. Nowadays the hotels and tour operators are using eco-friendlier activities by reducing waste, conserving water and using energy efficiently. One of the major key initiatives of green tourism is to ensure that the future generations are able to access the places that have been little damage from human activities. The ecological conservation is the core concepts of green tourism, educating the tourist and youth about ecosystems and natural environments. Green tourism efforts to promote responsible travel practices that reduce environmental impact and protect natural resources. The study is try to understand young generations attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions on green tourism by inspecting them. This information can be used to build methods to encourage more sustainable practices among young travelers, so assuring the protection of sensitive habitats and biodiversity. The researcher used descriptive research and involves survey and fact finding enquiries of different kinds. The data was collected from the 187 youth in and around Karnataka.
