Enhancing Employee Engagement and Resilience Among Faculties in Coimbatore Colleges and Universities: Examining the Mediating Role of Workforce Agility and Psychological Empowerment
摘要
The purpose of this research is to assess a model that investigates the relationship between employee engagement and resilience with psychological empowerment and workforce agility serving as mediators. Snowball sampling was used to survey 402 faculty members from various colleges and universities in Tamilnadu, India. Utilising SPSS and AMOS, we conducted the data analysis. This study used structural equation modelling, confirmatory factor analysis, and discriminant validity according to the Fornell-Larcker criteria to assess our hypotheses. Based on the mediation study, it was discovered that employee engagement and resilience are partially mediated by workforce agility, but not by psychological empowerment. The study concludes that the ability to quickly adjust to changing work conditions is a key component of a flexible workforce. Institutions should adopt policies that encourage flexibility and autonomy for faculty members in order to boost their productivity and happiness by Job Satisfaction.
