Impact of Green Human Resource Management Practices on Employee Environmental Commitment in Jordanian Industrial SMEs

The study addresses the challenge faced by Jordanian industrial SMEs in integrating environmental sustainability with a particular emphasis on the knowledge vacuum surrounding how Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) affects employees’ dedication to environmental sustainability in HR practices. The aim is to assess how various GHRM practices influence employee environmental commitment in Jordanian industrial SMEs to enhance their dedication to environmental initiatives. The study confirmed that GHRM practices such as green recruitment, training, innovation, health and safety, and compensation positively impact employee environmental commitment, proving their effectiveness. The findings offer actionable insights for integrating environmental considerations into HR strategies, assisting organizations in enhancing sustainability commitment.
