Before introducing terahertz (THz) communications to use case with mobility involved, there is the necessity to investigate time-variant propagation channels. At sub-THz frequencies, one of the most significant challenges is the maintenance of the connection, even in the event of a loss of line-of-sight (LoS). To overcome this challenge, various methods can be employed in a time-variant propagation channel, including multi-link connections, relays, and the use of strong reflections. In this chapter, we will present measurement techniques for studying time-variant propagation channels and introduce a suitable metric to characterize them.
