To facilitate the comparison of different channel sounding measurements across the globe, there is a compelling need for common reference models and calibration techniques. One potential solution for achieving consistent measurement results is the implementation of a standardised reference scenario for calibration and post-processing purposes. This chapter introduces a common reference structure that is compact enough to be easily portable, enabling its use in various locations worldwide. The chapter presents and compares measurement results obtained using both a correlation-based channel sounder and a time domain spectroscopy (TDS) system.

摘要

To facilitate the comparison of different channel sounding measurements across the globe, there is a compelling need for common reference models and calibration techniques. One potential solution for achieving consistent measurement results is the implementation of a standardised reference scenario for calibration and post-processing purposes. This chapter introduces a common reference structure that is compact enough to be easily portable, enabling its use in various locations worldwide. The chapter presents and compares measurement results obtained using both a correlation-based channel sounder and a time domain spectroscopy (TDS) system.
