Digital Health Analytics for Understanding Socio-Economic Determinants of Medical Consumption in Morocco
摘要
Morocco is undergoing healthcare reforms focused on universal coverage and equitable access. However, disparities in geography, socio-economic status, and education impact healthcare utilization. This study used digital surveys and advanced analytics to assess key factors influencing medical consumption, including geographic proximity, health insurance, income, and education. Conducted between May and July 2024, the survey gathered data from 504 participants, revealing significant urban-rural disparities, financial inequalities, and varying insurance coverage. Higher education levels correlated with greater digital engagement, highlighting accessibility challenges. Findings emphasize the need for targeted policies to enhance digital inclusion, improve insurance access, and strengthen health literacy. Ethical data management is crucial for effective policymaking, ensuring privacy and equitable healthcare access. Integrating real-time health data into decision-making can drive sustainable reforms, mitigate disparities, and optimize resource allocation. Morocco must reinforce governance structures and digital health strategies to create an inclusive, data-driven healthcare system.
