Additionally, the utilization of vacuum-assisted gas collection systems and gas permeable barriers is discussed, highlighting the potential benefits and drawbacks of each approach. Challenges and opportunities in implementing innovative landfill gas collection systems are discussed, including technical, regulatory, and financial aspects. Collaboration between stakeholders is emphasized as crucial for the successful implementation and operation of these systems.
