Instead, it advocates an inclusive and equitable approach that balances economic growth with environmental protection and social welfare. In addition, the study provides valuable insights into the potential benefits of adopting green economy principles. The study examines the role of policy interventions and institutional frameworks in the transition to a green economy. Effective policies, regulations and incentives are essential to stimulate sustainable practices, mobilize private sector investment and foster collaboration between government, industry and civil society stakeholders. By analyzing successful case studies and best practices from around the world, the study offers valuable lessons for policymakers seeking to design and implement effective green economy policies tailored to their specific contexts. The main goal of the research work is to analyze the green economy programs and learn the directions of improvement of the green economy in our country. The purpose of the conducted research is to analyze the work done in the country in the direction of the green economy in Azerbaijan, to investigate ways of improving projects in the future and to make relevant proposals in this direction. Scientific and economic methods and methods such as analysis, synthesis, generalization, complex and systematic approach were preferred in the research process.
