Effective management of industrial production systems presents a major challenge in the modern industry due to the increasing complexity of manufacturing processes and the growing demands for higher product quantities and faster production rates. This paper proposes an innovative approach based on rule-based control simulation for the planning and control of manufacturing processes in industrial production systems. The presented method allows for the simulation of these processes and the monitoring of their performance while optimizing criteria such as downtime and resource utilization. The results are illustrated through a case study in an industrial production company, demonstrating the benefits of this approach in improving the overall performance of the organization.
