The challenge lies in combining symbolic methods—used for rule-based reasoning, such as assessing self-efficacy levels—with neural models for tasks lacking clear rules, such as predicting suitable university fields. The system provides fields recommendations by integrating self-efficacy profiles and personality and offers personalized advice to enhance autonomy in decision-making. This approach contributes to school orientation by combining neuro-symbolic techniques for more informed and personalised recommendations.
