After briefly reviewing the notion of central configurations, in this chapter we introduce the triangular and collinear solutions, discussing their location and stability properties in the context of the planar, circular, restricted 3-body problem. We also investigate the existence of the triangular positions, when one of the bodies emits radiation or when it has an oblate shape. We conclude by presenting the effect of drag forces on the Euler-Lagrange points.
