Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks have increased dramatically, challenging traditional electronic detection methods due to limitations in latency, energy efficiency, and scalability, especially with encrypted traffic. This paper introduces an innovative all-optical approach using integrated photonics to enable real-time DDoS detection directly within optical communication networks. By leveraging ultrafast optical phenomena, the proposed method promises significant advancements in cybersecurity and high-speed data processing.

摘要

Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks have increased dramatically, challenging traditional electronic detection methods due to limitations in latency, energy efficiency, and scalability, especially with encrypted traffic. This paper introduces an innovative all-optical approach using integrated photonics to enable real-time DDoS detection directly within optical communication networks. By leveraging ultrafast optical phenomena, the proposed method promises significant advancements in cybersecurity and high-speed data processing.
