This chapter details the methodology that we employed in both periods of research—in the original research that we undertook between the years 2018–2021, and the follow-up study we undertook after the events of October seventh. The chapter presents information about the narrative-phenomenological interviews that we used, the sample, the materials we collected from social media, and the different stages of analysis. Moreover, the chapter discusses the ethical issues we faced when undertaking this sensitive study of Otef Aza residents’ traumatic experiences due to living for over two decades with war and terror attacks, including the massive attack of October seventh.
