In the discussion of global environmental problems, reducing carbon dioxide emissions is a key proposal to curb climate change and maintain the earth's ecological balance. However, this demand is intertwined with the achievement of sustainable development goals and the promotion of a green economy. Carbon dioxide emissions, mostly due to industries and traffic as well as energy production, pose a grave threat to the sustainability of the environment, whose symptoms are climate disturbances, air pollution, and deterioration of ecologies. The accomplishment of such demands much concerted effort toward the consumption of low-carbon alternatives and adoption of sustainable practices across business sectors. The principles of justice, social progress, and environmental protection form the basis for sustainable development to provide a holistic framework integrating environmental considerations into broader development programs. Economic growth should be accomplished in such a way that nobody would have been left behind and economic development would not at all adversely affect future generations. In this concept of the green economy presents a reconcilable means for exploring economic prosperity and environmental sustainability more harmoniously. The use of renewable energy sources, sustainable business practices, and green technologies brings chances to innovate, create employment opportunities, and induce inclusive growth in the green economy. Thus, at this nexus of carbon emissions, sustainable development, and the green economy, an emphasis must lie on coordinated action towards mitigating climate change, in support of the sustainable development of a more sustainable global economy.

摘要
