Expanding on the concept of optical RF generation, this chapter explores high-order frequency multiplication techniques for generating MW and MMW signals using cascaded MZMs and DPPolMs. A multiband photonic architecture is also presented for signal generation across Ku to V bands. Simulation studies are conducted using OptiSystem® and ADS® to evaluate system performance, confirming the effectiveness of photonic approaches for high-frequency RoF applications.
