A Personalized Digital Solution to Assist Task Organization and Time Management for People with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
摘要
This study details the development of an assistive technology (AT) designed to support individuals with ADHD in task organization and time management. Using a User-Centered Design (UCD) methodology, the process included persona-based and scenario-based evaluations to guide the development of the solution. The application features customizable functionalities tailored to individuals with ADHD, such as flexible task management, adaptive reminders, and focus strategies, with the aim of promoting user autonomy and well-being. Preliminary evaluations, based on usability and accessibility heuristics, suggest that the mobile application is intuitive and inclusive, addressing the specific needs of users with ADHD—particularly in terms of personalization and visual clarity. These results highlight the interface’s potential to improve organizational and time management skills, emphasizing the importance of personalized digital solutions for this population. Future steps include real-user testing to validate and refine the solution.
