This study examines the accessibility of email applications for users with blindness or low vision, with a focus on non-visual features such as screen reader compatibility, alternative text descriptions, and voice-based AI interfaces. Through a survey and interviews, the research explored how persons with blindness and low vision use these features to access, compose, and manage emails, and identifies the barriers and challenges they encounter. The findings offer practical insights for improving email accessibility, emphasizing user needs and common barriers faced by users with blindness and low vision.
