The Iraqi economy faced very large financial surpluses from the sale of crude oil in international markets during the research period, but mismanagement of the economy caused the loss of those oil revenues in reformulating the local economy and addressing sustainable problems in the macroeconomic. The research aims to analyze the indicators of the oil resource in Iraq and determine the causal relationship between oil revenues, (domestic production) DP, and GNI (Gross National Income) in Iraq. The research assumed that oil revenues cause DP and GNI in the Iraqi economy, and it has a positive relationship with them. The research concluded that there is no causal relationship in any direction between oil revenues, DP, and GNI in Iraq, which means rejecting the research hypothesis, due to the fact that the production sectors' ongoing imbalance disrupts all economic activity and results in the waste of the financial surpluses from the sale of crude oil. The research recommended diversifying DP and re-describing the structure of DP in order to reduce dark rentierism. Toward eliminating macroeconomic problems in Iraq.

摘要
