In this paper, we explain the impact of using modern smart digital technology on costs and time. Information from a college affiliated with Baghdad’s universities was used. Construction sector companies suffer from difficulty in scheduling projects and following up on their completion in a timely manner. This leads to more time spent completing projects and incurring higher costs. We found that digital technology impacts costs through changes in items and classification, and this goes beyond reducing costs. Modern smart digital technology has also affected time by reducing the time required to complete operations and presenting them in a more efficient manner. We found that failure to adhere to modern technologies leads to wasted costs and time. The program evaluation and review technique was adopted to prepare the necessary estimates for completing sequential activities, scheduling, and monitoring. We enrich the cost reduction literature using modern digital technology.
