Sustainable Digital Economy to Achieve Good Governance: An Analytical Study

The Abstract In our research, we studied the concept of a sustainable digital economy, which is one of the most important concepts that has spread widely today in order to help countries get rid of crises and move towards sustainable development by setting plans and goals that depend on digital economies. Digital economies are witnessing rapid growth in the field of information and communications technology (ICT), which is clearly linked to good governance methodologies and is an indicator of achieving a balance between the benefits and potential risks of digital transformation. The components of the sustainable digital economy were studied and presented with discuss the relationship between whether good governance contributes to activating a sustainable digital economy, especially when there is a relationship between the sustainable digital economy and policy makers around the world in the presence of challenges (political conflicts, climate change, diseases and epidemics). The research also dealt with measuring the impact of the digital economy in good governance using the World Economic Freedom Index for (159) countries. The results showed that the (Government Regulation) variable had the greatest impact.
