Roll of Flexibility Decomposition in Sustainable SMEs Development Under Stress Conditions
摘要
This study considers the role of digital transformation, particularly Industry 4.0, in enhancing the resilience and agility of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Industry 4.0 technologies, based on 3D modeling, are identified as critical factors in intensifying the processes of technological preparation of production and increasing the adaptability of SMEs in response to dynamic market demands and geopolitical and other external stressors. Particular attention is paid to the preference-based planning approach (PPLAN), which optimizes resource allocation, reduces lead times, and supports the economic efficiency of the enterprise. A unique flexibility decomposition approach is introduced, enabling SMEs to navigate supply and demand fluctuations and stressful challenges strategically. The study shows that layered 3D information significantly contributes to stability under stressful conditions, helping to adapt quickly during disruptions such as force majeure. This integrated approach allows SMEs to maintain productivity, improve resource management, and promote sustainable growth. The study results emphasize the potential of digital tools, layered 3D information, and structured flexibility techniques to ensure SMEs’ long-term competitiveness in a volatile global market.
