In response to intensifying ecological, technological, and epistemic crises, this chapter introduces the Post-Anthropocentric Design (PAD) framework, a pedagogical methodology for cultivating systemic, multispecies, and postdigital modes of learning. Developed through collaborative research between the Royal College of Art and Shenkar College of Art, Engineering and Design, PAD extends human-centred design practices to embrace more-than-human perspectives and nonlinear dynamics of change. The framework equips learners to navigate complexity through speculative and systems-oriented approaches, with particular emphasis on embodied experimentation and imaginative world-making. Grounded in values such as playfulness, criticality, and adaptability, PAD has been tested through a range of educational contexts, including immersive design games, summer schools, and public collaborations with cultural institutions. PAD offers practical tools for reconditioning perception and contributes to emerging conversations about how to teach complexity in ways that are creative, ethical, and accessible.

摘要
