Review of RF Energy Harvesting for Autonomous ZigBee-Based Wireless Sensor Network
摘要
The increasing demand for Internet of Things (IoT) applications has highlighted the need for energy-autonomous Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Radio Frequency (RF) energy harvesting has become a promising approach for powering sensor nodes by converting ambient RF signals into usable electrical energy. This paper provides a comprehensive review of RF energy harvesting (RFEH) techniques for autonomous ZigBee-based wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The study explores the fundamental principles, methods, and architectures of RFEH, as well as the challenges and limitations of integrating RFEH into ZigBee-based Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). Potential applications, future research directions, and strategies to enhance the sustainability and longevity of WSNs using RFEH are also discussed. This review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of RFEH for autonomous ZigBee-based wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and inspire future research in this field.
